Biography

Ferrour served as a juror at an inquisition, held at Cricklade in 1375, concerning ownership of the manor of Keynes Court in Purton. He is less likely to have been the John Ferrour who, in Swanborough hundred in central Wiltshire, acted as an assessor of the aid for the marriage of Henry IV’s daughter, Blanche, in 1402.
