Biography

At Michaelmas 1391, as bailiff of Portsmouth, Hicche accounted at the Exchequer for the town’s fee farm, and in October he sent the names of the newly elected parliamentary burgesses to the sheriff of Hampshire, in response to the latter’s precept. His relationship to William Hicche II* has not been ascertained.
