Biography

Apart from the record of his elections to Parliament, only one notice of Philip Motty has been traced: in May 1420 he was named on the list of men-at-arms who, recruited by the west country landowner Sir Thomas Carew, were mustered at Southampton prior to embarkation for Normandy.
