Biography
Richman held two burgages in South Street, Dorchester, as settled on him by his father, Thomas, in 1402 and 1416. Meanwhile, in July 1405 he had appeared as a witness in a matrimonial action brought at Lyme against the latter, vouching for the veracity of the contract he had entered into with Agnes Crogge. He was present at the county court convened at Dorchester for the shire elections to the Parliament of December 1421, in which his father represented Lyme. In 1428 and 1430 he acted as an attorney for the livery of seisin of property in Dorchester.
