Biography

In 1387 Skinner and Peter Man of Maidon were arraigned in the borough court at Colchester for debt. He was elected as one of the overseers of repairs to the Hey bridge at Maldon two years later, and in 1394 he was chosen to assist the bailiff. In 1395 a man from Shoebury obtained a royal pardon of outlawry for not appearing in the lawcourts to answer him for a debt of £4 6s.8d.2
