Biography

Tropenell witnessed conveyances of property in and near Lyme in 1382 and the 1390s. He himself held land at ‘Netherlyme’ and Colway, and he may also have had some interests in Somerset, for his feoffees included the vicar and a chaplain of St. Mary’s parish, North Petherton.3
