Biography

Griffith was a member of the Plas Mawr branch of the powerful Caernarvonshire family that virtually monopolized the borough seat during much of the Elizabethan reign. He is not known to have participated in the 1601 Commons’ debates, though he was active in the second and third Parliaments of James I.
