Biography

Wilson was elected to the 1621 Parliament at the behest of Thomas, earl of Arundel.1 He played no recorded part in the Parliament; nor is anything else certainly known about him. However, he was possibly the John Wilson resident in Arundel’s London house in 1619.2 Additionally, a man of that name presented Thomas Heyney to the vicarage of Arundel, Sussex (perhaps as the earl’s trustee) in June 1620.3
