Biography

Returned on the interest of John Harris, John Arscott voted with the Administration. In December 1743 he became trustee for a pension on the Irish establishment granted to his aunt, the wife of Sir William Yonge.1 Re-elected in 1747, he did not stand again. He died 14 Jan. 1788, aged 69.
