Biography
After serving in Flanders 1742-7, Boscawen was returned as a Whig on his family’s interest for Truro in 1747, becoming master of the horse to the Duke of Cumberland, whose ‘interest’ he managed on the race course.1
He died 30 Apr. 1767.
