Biography

Morgan’s grandfather was general of horse under Monk; his father sat in 1681 for New Radnor, where he had acquired estates through his wife, and for Herefordshire 1685-7 and from 1689 till his death in 1693. Re-elected for the county as a Tory in 1715, Morgan voted against the septennial bill. He died 4 Dec. 1716.
