Biography

Arnold Nesbitt was apprenticed to his uncle, Albert Nesbitt, an eminent London merchant, became his partner, and succeeded to his business, his Winchelsea property and his seat in 1753. He was classed as a government supporter in 1754. He died 7 Apr. 1779.
