Biography

In 1751 Coventry was returned for Worcestershire in place of his brother who vacated his seat on succeeding as 6th Earl of Coventry. In Dupplin’s list of 1754 he was classed as a country gentleman supporting Administration. Coventry did not stand again in 1761, nor does he appear to have attempted to re-enter Parliament.

He died 16 Mar. 1801.
