Biography

Herbert regularly voted for North’s Administration. He spoke in the House on 25 Feb. 1777, and may be the ‘Mr. Herbert’ who spoke on 10 Dec. 1778.1 In 1780 Robinson did not expect Lord Pembroke, now in opposition, to return Herbert again.

He died 5 Sept. 1816.
