Temple 1772, called 1777.  m.6 June 1803, Lady Frances Perceval, da. of John, 2nd Earl of Egmont, 1s. 3da.  Kntd. 15 Feb. 1793; cr. Baron Redesdale 15 Feb. 1802; suc. to property of his distant relative Thomas Edwards Freeman and took add. name of Freeman 1809.

Biography

Mitford was returned for Bere Alston on the interest of his cousin Lord Lovaine. He voted with Pitt over the Regency.

He died 16 Jan. 1830.
