Midleton [I], 6s. 7da. suc. uncle, Sir William Thomas, 2nd Bt., in Ratton estate 1777 and took name of Thomas by royal lic. 4 July 1786; fa. 1780; cos. George White Thomas* in Yapton estate 1821.

Biography

Thomas was returned on the interest of the 2nd Marquess of Bath, who supported Pitt. No speech or vote of his is known. He resigned in March 1800, making room for Sir Charles Talbot. He died 21 Dec. 1847.
