b. 15 Nov. 1651, 1st s. of Anthony Ettrick, M.P., of Holt Lodge, Dorset by Anne, da. of Edward Davenant of Gillingham, Dorset. educ. Trinity, Oxf. 8 Mar. 1667, aged 16; M. Biography
Ettrick, a practising lawyer, sat as a Tory for Christchurch from the Revolution to the Hanoverian accession. Re-elected unopposed in 1715, he voted against the septennial bill. He died 5 Dec. 1716.
