b. 12 Oct. 1723, 1st s. of George Parker, 2nd Earl of Macclesfield, by his 1st w. educ. Hertford, Oxf. 1740. m. 12 Dec. 1749, Mary, da. of Sir William Heathcote, 1st Bt., of Hursley, Hants, 2s. 3da. suc. fa. as 3rd Earl 17 Mar. 1764.
Returned unopposed for Newcastle-under-Lyme on Lord Gower’s interest, Parker was classed as a government supporter. On 15 Nov. 1753 he seconded Sir James Dashwood’s motion for a call of the House to discuss the necessity for the repeal of the Act for the naturalization of the Jews.1
He died 9 Feb. 1795.
